Hi, after I found out that gdb (32 bit) don't work on a 64 bit system I tried to install the x64 binarys of MinGW from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/. But I can't compile anything. I've tried it directly over the command line with: x86_64-pc-mingw32-g++.exe hello.cpp Result: Nothing! No text output, no file output, nothing... If I execute it with the "-v" flag the following output is printed: Using built-in specs. Target: x86_64-pc-mingw32 Configured with: ../gcc/configure --host=x86_64-pc-mingw32 --target=x86_64-pc-mingw32 --disable-nls --enable-languages=c,c++ --with-gmp=/home/drangon/ mingw/for_target --enable-twoprocess --prefix=/home/drangon/mingw/target --with-sysroot=/home/drangon/mingw/target Thread model: win32 gcc version 4.3.0 20080109 (experimental) (GCC) COLLECT_GCC_OPTIONS='-v' '-mtune=generic' c:/mingw/bin/../libexec/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/cc1plus.exe -quiet -v -iprefix c:\mingw\bin\../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/ blub.cpp -quiet - dumpbase blub.cpp -mtune=generic -auxbase blub -version -o C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp/cc2Vaaaa.s ignoring nonexistent directory "/home/drangon/mingw/target/home/drangon/mingw/target/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../include" ignoring nonexistent directory "/home/drangon/mingw/target/mingw/include64" #include "..." search starts here: #include <...> search starts here: c:\mingw\bin\../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../include/c++/4.3.0 c:\mingw\bin\../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../include/c++/4.3.0/x86_64-pc-mingw32 c:\mingw\bin\../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../include/c++/4.3.0/backward c:\mingw\bin\../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/include c:\mingw\bin\../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/include-fixed c:\mingw\bin\../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../x86_64-pc-mingw32/include c:/mingw/lib/gcc/../../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../include/c++/4.3.0 c:/mingw/lib/gcc/../../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../include/c++/4.3.0/x86_64-pc-mingw32 c:/mingw/lib/gcc/../../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../include/c++/4.3.0/backward c:/mingw/lib/gcc/../../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/include c:/mingw/lib/gcc/../../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/include-fixed c:/mingw/lib/gcc/../../lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-mingw32/4.3.0/../../../../x86_64-pc-mingw32/include End of search list.
