[snip apparent path-translation problem] The 'make' manual recommends using the $(MAKE) variable for recursive invocation, e.g. $(MAKE) -C $(MY_FILE) && echo "done!" > Hm, is there any way out except for (a) writing different Makefiles for > windows and linux which would be a lot of work here, and (b) using msys > since the mingw32-make shall in the end be called via the SciTE text > editor which can not talk to msys. As for (a), this: > mingw32-make -C $(MY_FILE) && echo "done!" isn't portable, and that's reason enough to prefer $(MAKE), though there are other reasons as well. I don't know whether that'll fix the problem you report. The archives of this mailing list discuss issues that depend on the version of 'mingw32-make', where it's installed, and what shell appears on your $(PATH). |
