Hi, I am trying to build OpenOffice.org with mingw tools and facing a severe bug of gcc. It is the incompatibility of alloca() and silj exceptin handling. ( http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=25266 ) When I posted it to gcc bugzilla, I received a comment that it relates to another bug already reported. And the reporter Mr. Danny Smith says it will not occur with the patched gcc dwarf2 unwind enabled. I have searched the web and found his patch at http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2004-11/msg01989.html. I am trying to apply it to gcc-3.4.2-20040916-1 released by mingw. Some patch failed and I have made some modifications which seemed to be appropriate to me, by hand. However, currently I still cannot complete the build. Genmode.exe crashes. I am lost and would appreciate any advise to resolve the problem. ---- Takashi Ono(HK Freak) mailto:t_...@hk... or MHF...@ni...
