Hello Mailinglist, I got the source code of a library from the internet (TVision). In the readme is said: Install MSys and MinGW compiler to compile it under windows. I have done all these things that are said in the manuel. The output was a directory called lib with two ".a" files and one directory with headers. Now I want to compile an example source which shows how to use the TVision library. I have added the source in the MinGW IDE and added the created headers to the include path. The result is that I can compile the example source, but not link it. Problem: How to add this .a file in the MinGW Ide to link the example file? If I add this "librhtv.a" file in the libraries textbox of the IDE I got this message: --------------------Configuration: TV_Test - Debug-------------------- Linking... H:\MinGWStudio\MinGW\bin\..\lib\gcc-lib\mingw32\3.3.1\..\..\..\..\mingw32\bin\ld.exe: cannot find -llibrhtv.a TV_Test.exe - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s) Best wishes Peter |
