In fact, I use this now in the LDFLAGS of my Makefiles, so I may keep gcc and don't need to recompile it :) My goal was only to strip all CRT init code from my binaries, since I don't use it (and I used threads, with some memory leaks as I use CreateThread and prefer true API calls)... After, if some DLLs use it, I don't care, that's none of my business. But as I use only Win32 API ones, I hope they don't rely on msvcrt... Note that now, memory leaks have disappeared ;-) BTW, using this cheat in MSVC++ 6.0 produce exe size of 16Ko instead of 24Ko.
