[Mingw-users] Q: symlink broken in tar

received some packages in tar but fails when untar:
the packages contain symlink. I think this is a known
issue in the mingw/msys for a long time. Is there any
plan to fix it in mingw/msys? How can I circumvent it
so that I can untar the packages?
