Hi, I desire to build the MIT Kerberos distribution under mingw, to accomplish the cross-compilation of some AFS utilities that require linking with the krb5 libraries. However, it seems that I'm running into what may be a fairly common problem. The prebuild scripts generate a makefile that is in M$ NMAKE format. I tried hacking together a makefile by hand, but the Krb5 distribution is pretty complicated and I didn't have a lot of success. Has anyone done any "conversions" from NMAKE format makefiles and have any tips they would like to share? I wonder if it would be possible to hack a generic NMAKE->gmake conversion filter.
