[Mingw-users] Using COM with MinGW?

Hi,

I'm trying to find a free (as in beer) compiler for Win32 that supports
COM.
I've found your site, and the FAQ says there is limited support for
COM, and that I should search for COM in the mailing lists.
Unfortunately "COM" isn't a good search term, as it tends to get
spurious hits from email-domains.

A search for afx  (as in afx.h) found posts mentioning w32api and
win32api in the, and they indicate that it is available for download,
but I can't find the location for it. Where is this package located?

says that Peter Hawkings had DirectX 5/COM port, but the link is dead,
and I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know the state of this?
