Hi and how did you do it ? i used dmake and set in the startup dir a file local.mk with these lines OS *:= win32 OSRELEASE *:= mingw OSENVIRONMENT *:= gcc which is strange but looks like the example config.mk. after that in the win subdir of perl 580, I type dmake after some time compilation stops at win32.c:66 conflicting types for _wfdopen c:/mingw/include/stdio.h:364 previous declaration of _wfdopen pascal > Hello, > > I successfully built Perl Version 5.8 with Mingw gcc version 3.2 > using the -O3 full optimization option.
