the site http://www.mingw.org  mentions
MinGW-1.0.1-20010726 is the latest snapshot
but the latest seems to be MinGW-1.1.tar.gz
from  http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=2435 reached
through download page

so is the news page of mingw up to date ?
