Category: binutils Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: Works For Me Priority: 5 Submitted By: tigerdaisy (tigerdaisy) Assigned to: Danny Smith (dannysmith) Summary: windres & res2coff bug [VERSION field dropped] Initial Comment: When you compile a resource file with windres, the version field never gets linked in the actual output. Also, when you convert a RC .RES file to .o file with res2coff, it complains "unnamed resource of type 16 [VERSION] : [0001]" but still makes the .o file. It also seems to drop the VERSION field. Any Idea Why? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: SourceForge Robot (sf-robot) Date: 2006-10-05 19:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1312539 This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. Linking that osres.o file into an app worksa too amd the versioninfo is filled out as expected. What are you doing?
