I have a uploaded release 1.1 of the complete MinGW toolchain to https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=2435 This release bundles gcc-2.95.3-20010828, binutils-2.11.90-20010915, mingw-runtime-1.1, w32api-1.1, and make-3.79.1-20010722. The sources for these binaries can be found in the respective sub-packages. Changes from MinGW-1.0 include numerous bug-fixes and additions to w32api headers and libs, addition of auto-import option to ld (with appropriate error message when auto-import fails), and fix up of a regression from gcc-2.95.2 to make 8-byte structure alignment the default again. As with previous release, it contains C, C++, ObjC and F77 compilers. Please refer to the release notes for the subpackages for other changes. If you choose to download this you do not need to download any of these components, but can freely update any of them as more recent subpackage snapshots are released. The full distribution requires 33MB disk space. The only environment variable that needs to be set is to put the <base>/bin directory into your PATH. For example, if you install the package into D:\my_mingw, set your path to include d:\my_mingw\bin. Please ensure that older versions of gcc.exe do not come before this in your path. http://travel.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo! Travel - Got Itchy feet? Get inspired! |
