If it's been more than 7 seconds since you saved or started the game, you could just hit Esc, which will pause the game (but not switch to windowed mode) until you hit Yes or No. Long texture load times are easily eliminated by using a faster texture format (or using Linux, where we don't need to reload the OpenGL context on mode switches :) Gregory |
