I'm not sure what's wrong. I've heard this happening with MD5 or CRYPT (for various icky reasons), but never with PLAIN. Double check your config files and make sure $g_login_method is set to PLAIN. Also try browsing the new user passwords and see if they look like plain text or if they look like they were run through MD5 or CRYPT. Ok, I'll do it... Can you give small hint in form of ER-scheme? (I can't recall it "on the fly") -- Best regards, Alexander |

Alexander, I'm not sure what you mean by ER-scheme. If you're looking to see what the passwords look like you can check the bottom of sql/db_generate.sql and see the examples. -Ken >Hello Ken, > > On Fri, 22 Mar 2002 13:21:42 -0600 (23.03.02 00:21 my local time) > you wrote about "[Mantisbt-help] (no subject)" > at least in part: > >KI> Also try browsing the >KI> new user passwords and see if they look like plain text or if they look >KI> like they were run through MD5 or CRYPT. >Ok, I'll do it... Hello Kenzaburo, On Sat, 23 Mar 2002 02:25:55 -0600 (23.03.02 13:25 my local time) you wrote about "[Mantisbt-help] (no subject)" at least in part: KI> I'm not sure what you mean by ER-scheme. Entity - Relationship Diagram... I can understand :-), how you generate passwords (can read sources yet :-)), I ask abt full data scheme - you have base rather complex structure, but I think about own "extenders"... BTW - my problem solved (partially), source is (IMHO) outside Mantis I forgot, what _my_ g_login=CRYPT :-) and work version 16.1 :-))))... After OS upgrade all new passwords are (for some reasons) MD5 :-( Re-read older posts here, understand, and think about fastest fix -- Best regards, Alexander |
