FYI, as a response to the idea that we should just change the schema rather than trying to quote everything (to fix the "release" issue), I've just loaded a patch that does this fairly comprehensively, including updating existing schemas so they will work with the new code. Tested on MySQL and PostgreSQL. I read the docs for Oracle so I *hope* that one works as well :). I hope there's still some interest in getting an LXR 1.0 released... It's been pretty quiet for the last week or so. I have other projects I'd like to do, such as add a new SCM backend for our system, etc. but I think some general cleanup is required before that can happen... and also I think the caching stuff I mentioned before (and I filed on the SF site) would be pretty important for performance here. I don't want to get too far ahead of the "real" codebase, so there are a number of steps that need to be taken.
