My first guess would be that it's not Qt, but what
version of Qt are you running?  I can remember some
weirdness associated with 3.3.4, but I don't remember
what it was.  I think most of us are running 3.3.6.

means LMMS is finding something it thinks is a plugin,
but the file is missing some information.

Assuming you did a default install with vst support,

ls /usr/local/lib/lmms/*.so

should give you:

libaudiofileprocessor.so
libbitinvader.so
libflpimport.so
libmidiimport.so
liborganic.so
libpluckedstringsynth.so
libtripleoscillator.so
libvestige.so
libvibedstring.so
lvsl_server.exe.so

If you didn't compile in vst support, then libvestige
and lvsl_server shouldn't be in the list.

If there is anything else there, well, that could
*possibly* cause a problem, but I can't tell you what
to do without knowing why the extra library is located
there.

If there isn't anything extra, then you could try
removing all of the files from /usr/local/lib/lmms/,
doing a "make clean" on LMMS, then rebuilding and
reinstalling it.
