[Lmms-users] My findings so far on LMMS 0.4.14-rc-1

Hi guys,

So far I have found a few issues with LMMS 0.4.14-rc-1.
First off I noticed CPU usage is incredibly high.
Even if I don't touch the machine my CPU reading goes way in the red 
zone and stays there.
The only thing I can do is restart LMMS and at some point I get the same.
As a result of this I don't get any audio output whatsoever when this 
happens.
The program doesn't lock or crash and because of this I don't get a 
chance to file an apport report.
I got rid of my VST plugins to be sure none of them are causing this but 
the issue still pops up.
Is there a way for me to submit output from command line so you can see 
what happens when this overflow of CPU usage occurs?

Second thing I noticed is when I solo a channel and have to restart LMMS 
the channel that I solo-ed comes up unmuted and the other channels are 
all on mute. I then have to unmute the other channels. Pretty annoying.

The solo/mute issue is not so bad but having to restart LMMS every time 
is incredibly frustrating.
Am I the only one getting this and can anyone out there please help me out?

On a positive note, I also noticed LMMS handling VST's better than before.
Kudos on that! And I am also enjoying multi track exporting.

PS. would it be too much to ask to also get editing options in the Song 
Editor for example copy/paste whole sections of a sequence in stead of 
one section at a time? Let me know if this option already is in place in 
the software and how to use it.
