Just as a side note - you don't have to  modify the default theme.
Just make a directory somewhere and add the files you wish to replace.
 For example: make a background_artwork.png in order to replace the
background.  Any files your missing will be taken from the default
theme automagically.

BTW, you need to change your theme directory in the settings dialog.
