[ jEdit-users ] Selecting current word (including all non-word characters)

Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am trying to find a method of
selecting a word where the "word" can contain non-word characters
surrounded by whitespace.

For example, I would like the following to be treated as 1
word: POL2.sc_SplitAccountings

I'd also like to assign this to a "mouse" shortcut, for example
"CTRL-SHIFT-LeftClick".
