Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Dale Anson (daleanson) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) >Summary: FastOpen jump to line number only works on loaded buffers Initial Comment: FastOpen 2.4 When using FastOpen, entering filename:linenumber used to open the file and jump to the line number. Now the cursor is always placed on the first line. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alan Ezust (ezust) Date: 2012-04-13 18:33 Message: It appears to jump to the line number of the file if the a buffer has already loaded the file! If however, fastopen must open the buffer first, it seems that the jump-to-line happens before the buffer is actually finished loading, so it fails. I can observe the same behavior in both FastOpen 2.3 and FastOpen 2.5. I do not believe there is any regression or change in behavior for FastOpen 2.4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=565475&aid=3517260&group_id=588 |
