Hi I am trying to run jEdit 4.3 remotely on a Linux server, using the Xming 6.9 X server and PuTTy on Windows XP. jEdit does run ok in this environment but I find that the mouse pointer is offset from the highlighted menu option when I select a menu. In other words, the mouse position was being shown in one place but the menus were being highlighted about 50 pixels lower. I see the same problem with SmartSVN, which is another Java application. The linux box is running Sun Java 1.6. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a fix for it please? Best regards David |
