Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) >Assigned to: daniel hahler (blueyed) Summary: PHP syntax highlighting and EOL comments Initial Comment: Problem: In a php document, EOL style comments (e.g. #, //) result in an entire line being commented, even if the PHP parser is closed before the EOL. For example, with this code: <?php # This is a comment ?><html tags> "?><html tags>" is included in the comment highlighting. Expected behavior is that the comment highlighting covers only "# This is a comment". This may be a general problem with the usage of EOL_SPAN types inside a document with multiple parsers (html, php, js...), but it can be fixed in this case with changes to modes/php.xml as indicated in the attached diff. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=1410967&group_id=588 |
