Category: search and replace Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Suraj Kurapati (cyzsuraj) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: (pre7) svn 6797: replace regexp with beanshell expr broken Initial Comment: Hello, In 4.3pre7 (svn 6797), there is a bug when I replace a regexp with result of a beanshell expression. To reproduce this bug, follow these instructions: 1. Make a new buffer with this content: apple banana citrus date 2. Select all text in the buffer and open the find-and-replace dialog 3. Put the following regexp in the 'search for' field ^(.).* 4. Put the following beanshell expr in 'replace with' field "<<" + _1 + ">>" 5. Activate the 'result of beanshell snippet' radio button 6. Activate the 'regular expressions' checkbox 7. Press the 'replace all' button 8. Observe that the buffer now has this content: <<apple>> <<banana>> <<citrus>> <<date>> The expected result is that the buffer should have this content: <<a>>pple <<b>>anana <<c>>itrus <<d>>ate Thanks for your attention. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=1546439&group_id=588 |
