I haven't noticed this, but then the only things I've been editing lately are C and Java... but my guess is that you JSP file is hitting some corner case of the parser that's causing it to either take a long time to parse the code, or go into some sort of infinite loop. Two things that would help debug this: - what parser did you activate before hitting "apply" (it's not clear from you message) - the Java thread stack trace (do a kill -3 on the process; on Mac OS I don't really know where the output will go to, though, if you don't start jEdit from a terminal window). -- Marcelo Vanzin va...@us...
