Initial Comment:
On a notebook compaq with italian keyboard, windows xp,

j2sdk1.4.2, characters [ and { do not works (nothing is

printed in the editor window). They works only if a

close bracket is already present on the same line. 



This problem was not present in the 4.1 release, but

has been first experienced in 4.2pre5 release.

Almost fixed using 4.2pre6. Now char [ works fine, but still

{ doesn't print nothing (again, if a closed bracket is not

already present on the line). Thanks anyway.

Try intalling 4.2pre5, then replace its jedit.jar with the

4.2pre6 nightly snapshot: www.jedit.org/jedit.jar
