I have tested the regular expressions with configurable fold handler and I
am
REALLY impressed.  It works nearly perfect for all my of my XML-documents
and the performance is in the area ok - good (confinement: I have tested
several
XML-files up to 140 kB size on a P4-2GHz and a AMD-700MHz).
If I find time I will try to look into the regular expressions (this is a
good
occasion to extend my limited knowledge).
If I come up with a improved version I'll send it to you.
I think you should add this regular expression to the documentation of the
configurable fold handler as an example what could be done using regexps.

Explicit folding works fine too, but because configurable fold handler
works without modifying the document, it is just my second choice, thanks
anyway...
