Summary: jedit hangs on 'paste'

Hi!

I have been using 'nedit' on my linux box for quite a
while when I started switching into jedit (4.0 pre3)
(with jdk1.3 & jdk1.4beta3) when I noticed that while
copy&paste from emacs to jedit works just fine, it
locks jedit when I copy&paste from/to nedit.
Locks it dead, completely. Unresponsive and recoverable
only by killing the process and restarting it, which
also generates on load the following exception:
