Summary: Exception in textArea

Initial Comment:
Hi,
   When i work with a java file there`s no any problem 
but if i try to edit any other file (xml, xsl, etc.) 
the character doesn't appear correctly well i fact it 
only happens with new lines.

    And in activity log appears the exception reported 
in the file, for each key i press.
  
     I've tried with jdk1.3.1_01 and jdk1.4beta3 on 
win32, with spanish keyboard an the list of plugins 
included in the file.
   
     I've been following the code and the exception i 
thought it could be smth related to poperties(Casting 
Exception) and i tried to change my properties to 
diferent values... but i didn't get nothing.

     My intuition says that this must be a plugin 
problem ... but ... :-) i am not sure and i dont know 
plugins enough....
