Hi Slava, Sorry but i didn't notice the last ':' after filename and pass it with correct filename to 'error list'. I corrected my regexp and it works fine now! Yet another thing. When file pathname is too long, Omnimark puts the filename on a new line. Is there a way to include it in the error pattern ? I tryed using \n but as I can read in the user's manual, console parse output line by line. Is there any way to do that ? Below is an example Omnimark error: omnimark -- OmniMark Warning on line 4 in file C:\Temp\omnimark\test\str.xom: A shelf is possibly not being used as intended. The LOCAL STREAM 'STR' is referenced but never initialized. There was 1 warning detected. omnimark -- OmniMark Error 6005 on line 4 in file C:\Temp\omnimark\test\str.xom: Specified stream is not attached to a buffer or referent. For stream 'STR'. There was 1 error and no warnings detected. and below the pattern I defined in console error patterns option panel: console.error.Omnimark.warning=(.*Warning.*) on line (\d+) in file\n? ?(.*): console.error.Omnimark.match=(.+) on line (\d+) in file\n? ?(.*): console.error.Omnimark.name=Omnimark console.error.Omnimark.filename=$3 console.error.Omnimark.message=$1 console.error.user=Omnimark console.error.Omnimark.extra=omnimark --|(.+) console.error.Omnimark.line=$2 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Slava Pestov" <sl...@je...> To: <us...@je...> Sent: Wednesday, October 10, 2001 12:30 PM Subject: Re: [ jEdit-users ] Strange behaviour for Error list plugin > Hi, > > The console resolves relative file names in the error pattern in > relation to the current working directory. It seems to work fine as warnings and errors are correctly displayed in Error List panel with right line number and message. But when I want to click on an error message, instead of setting the cursor on the accurate buffer line, a new empty buffer is opened with the same name as the one containing the source ! > > This problem doesn't occur with errors displayed by the xml plugin. > > > > Has anybody ever seen this behaviour ? > > > > Another minor thing. I have set the Error List plugin to automatically display on errors, but when running my script from the console panel the error list panel don't get focus on errors (both of them are docked at bottom). > > > > Configuration info : > > ------------------------------ > > Windows 98SE/2000 > > sun jre 1.3.1 > > jEdit 3.2.2 > > Console 3.0.3 > > Error List 1.1.1 > > ------------------------------ > > > > Thanks, > > Lionel. > > -- > ----------------------------------------------- > jEdit Users' List > jEd...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jedit-users ______________________________________________________________________________ ifrance.com, l'email gratuit le plus complet de l'Internet ! vos emails depuis un navigateur, en POP3, sur Minitel, sur le WAP... http://www.ifrance.com/_reloc/email.emailif |
