I'm working on a plugin to allow jEdit to use jbuilder XML project files, .jpx files. I plan to release the plugin once you can do more than just open a file with it. BTW would anyone else find this helpful? The intent is to allow people in jBuilder shops to use jEdit with as much project file interop support as possible. What I'd like to do is call the jCompiler plugin with a set of properties derived from the jpx file with out messing up the jCompiler settings. I've looked at the jCompiler code and it makes direct calls to jEdit.getProperties() etc. I can see two options: A) get all the jCompiler properties and store them make my changes for the given jpx file compile restore settings B) change jCompiler to accept a set of properties, that would override the jEdit properties I'd rather do plan B, but don't want mess with the jCompiler code unless Dirk, Kevin and Aziz think plan B has merit. -Peace Dave |
