Hi folks, I've come across JabRef this afternoon and found it nice, kudos for the developers. I was told of it when asked on comp.text.tex about a quotation database software that emits BibTeX. I would like to maintain a store of my readings, i.e. the important sections copied from the books/papers with page numbers, linked to the bibliographic reference in a searchable way, probably with a web 2.0-like keyword system. As I now see it, being a newbie to JabRef, this software almost does this for me. Instead of the above it concentrates on the references. It would not be a hurdle to add these features, I guess. Is this or something similar in the plans? I'm literate in Java so could go read the sources. - Gergely |
