[Gnuplot-info] Which Symbol font in Postscript terminal?

Hi all,

I am wondering which Symbol font the Postscript terminal is using. I am
producing .eps files and importing them in MS Word for Mac (the journal I'm
submitting my paper to only accepts manuscripts in MS Word) and the Symbol
characters sometimes disappear when the file is printed in PDF during the
submission procedure. Thus I think the only option to get always a good
result is to embed the fonts in the file through "fontfile add", which is
what I currently do with other fonts. But how do I know which fonts in my
system are called by the "Symbol" alias in  gnuplot?
Can you help me with that?
