I re-post here a question I asked in http://www.manning-sandbox.com/thread.jspa?threadID=49316 another forum . The smooth frequency directive is very useful to generate histogram of statistical data. Sometimes it is desirable (for instance to deal with the file of reduced size) to save these statistics as figures in a file; this can be done using the set table option. Even if you try this on a very simple file, such as 1 2 2 you get a strange output ################ #Curve 0 of 1, 3 points #x y type 1 1 i 2 2 i 2 1 u ################ notice that there is an extra line, as if there was something undefined. This weird behaviour does not occur for the simple dataset 1 2 3 -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/smooth-frequency---table-tp33545000p33545000.html Sent from the Gnuplot - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
