Hi all, I'm trying to plot an x(y) curve (data given in two columns of a file) and on top to plot a constant line: y=1 Right now it looks like that: set format y "%e" set autoscale x set yrange [-0.863098:2.43739] plot "file.asc" with line notitle axis x1y1, \ 1 notitle with line File.asc has data in the range -1.5<x<7 Since -1.5 isn't a whole value, the left x end it -2. My problem is that the line y=1 is plotted only until x=-1.5 and not until the end of the plot area (x=-2). Does anyone know how I can make gnuplot plot the straight line until the end of the plotting area? I could set the xrange to [-2:7] but I want to do it automatically on many files and the range is a bit different each time. Looking for something more generic... Thanks a lot!
