Hi, I do not agree: > a. all projects (Debian, Jpackage, transcode) I am familiar with have > developer lists open to everybody and I don't know that this would be a > problem. Our list has an other goal: it is a medium for decision making. Debian has many open mail lists comparable to our forums, but I do not think that all their decision processes are open for any user. > b. As I already have mentioned only people taking part in the project may participate in the decision making. We have three discussions forums, I have subscribed to the open discussion forum and read almost everything there. And if there is a some reason not to make something publicly, only a private mail helps. > Remember, it's all about community, the people want to be part of the > team, they want to have the feeling they belong to it. My way to find such people would be - write in wiki and in forum what kind of help we need, - make announcements on the source forge - all this things only after the 0.9.0 is release: we just can not take care of all things simultaneously. >> 2.
