Hallo, the Eric has started the discussion, and I would like to continue it with some ideas. I like the name "the freemind constitution", and I think that not all questions are addressed in this proposal now. In the proposal I have found solutions. I would like to start with the discussion of the problems. If we had the same vision of the problems we would easily understand and discuss, how the proposed solution can work. Currently I see following open questions: a. How to make the project more successful and all people contributing to it productive and happy b. How to deal with different opinions inside of the developer team and avoid personal conflicts, c. What to do if more than three project members want to be project administrators (currently we have four administrators in the project) d. How the change project administrators if he / she does not want to retire, e. How to prevent the team members and the project administrators from doing irreversible mistakes, f. How to organize recruiting of new developers, who answers to people offering their assistance or participation, g. How to organize the release cycle and to make produce releases more frequently than once a year, h. How to test the release candidates without too much headache, You can see that my questions are covered by the draft proposals not completely. Thats' why I am going to write some separate posting to all of them later, and I would like to get your opinions too. We could also move discussion to the forum so that we can read more and write less.
