Hey guys, I really love audacity! It's great. I love playing with audio files and Audacity is my program of choice. It's great for all the simple stuff like fade outs and so on and of course the VST capabilities are great. Best of all, it's free! Thanks for that. Anyways, I'd like to help. I'm in university, studying programming, but I'm only in my first year so I don't really know enough yet to help with the development. However, I'm perfectly bilingual (English-French) and would be willing to translate the prog in French. Your site said you were looking for translators... so here I am. I'm not too sure where to go from here though... Maybe if you have a few minutes you could explain how it all works (I've done programming for some 3 years but not much and have never really gotten to work with C++ (I've done some basic stuff in C and I took a Java course last semester) but do have a fundamental knowledge of programming principles. I'm not too sure how the text would fit into the program... like is it all in a separate class and then that class can be re-used for successive versions or does the translation have to be done for several versions? OK let me know. David |
