http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=647 Testing Leland's new patch for snap-to options on audacity-win-r12851-2.0.6-alpha-02-nov-13 reveals a potential bug. With time format set to seconds both "prior" and "nearest" work as expected, but with time format set to samples - then both "prior" and "nearest" settings move the selection to the nearest sample. (I have added this to the Bugzilla thread for 647.) Overall I think this is an excellent thing to have done in that it should really help to avoid accidental turning on of snap-to, as still happens witnessed by postings on the forum. The only folk that might complain are those that turn it on and off frequently as they will require more clicking - but I suspect that there are not many users that do that. An excellent and elegant fix to two problems in one go Leland. Peter Peter Sampson Tel: +44 (0)1625 524 780 Mob: +44 (0)7732 278 299 |
