Using the WXWIN environmental variable accesses the header files for 2.9. Unfortunately, the linker, on its property page section (for all solutions which link with wxWidgets -- I would guess almost all of the 31), has a list that looks like this: filedialog.lib libsndfile.lib portaudio-v19.lib wxbase28u.lib wxbase28u_net.lib and hardcoded in on Configuration Properties/Linker/Input/Additional Dependencies. Additionally, there is a list that looks like this: /OUT:"D:\audio\Audacity\currentCVS\audacity\win\Unicode Release\Audacity.exe" /NOLOGO /LIBPATH:"D:\audio\Audacity\currentCVS\audacity\win\Unicode Release" /LIBPATH:"D:\audio\wxWidgets\wx2.8.10x\lib\vc_dll" /MANIFEST /MANIFESTFILE:"Unicode Release\Audacity.exe.intermediate.manifest" /MANIFESTUAC:"level='asInvoker' uiAccess='false'" /NODEFAULTLIB:"dsound.lib" /SUBSYSTEM:WINDOWS /STACK:8388608 /LTCG /DYNAMICBASE:NO /MACHINE:X86 /ERRORREPORT:PROMPT filedialog.lib libsndfile.lib portaudio-v19.lib wxbase28u.lib wxbase28u_net.lib wxmsw28u_adv.lib wxmsw28u_core.lib wxmsw28u_html.lib wxexpat.lib wxpng.lib wxzlib.lib wxjpeg.lib wxtiff.lib comctl32.lib rpcrt4.lib wsock32.lib winmm.lib oleacc.lib kernel32.lib user32.lib gdi32.lib winspool.lib comdlg32.lib advapi32.lib shell32.lib ole32.lib oleaut32.lib uuid.lib kernel32.lib user32.lib gdi32.lib winspool.lib comdlg32.lib advapi32.lib shell32.lib ole32.lib oleaut32.lib uuid.lib odbc32.lib odbccp32.lib hardcoded in on Configuration Properties/Linker/Input/Command Line. --Ed > -----Original Message----- > From: Martyn Shaw [mailto:mar...@go...] > Sent: Sunday, November 15, 2009 3:50 PM > To: aud...@li... > Subject: Re: [Audacity-devel] compiling with wxWidgets 2.9 > > WXWIN Environment Variable? > > Martyn > > Ed Musgrove wrote: > > Running Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Pro. > > WxWidgets is planning to commit a stable 2.9 very shortly. > > > > Is there a simple way to tell VS C++'s Audacity property pages to use > > the wxWidgets 29 libraries not the 28 libraries?
