Yes, where (as almost always happens) Audacity produces a CBR file when asked for VBR, iTunes sees the length correctly. Where a VBR is produced, it doesn't. Like Richard suggests, we can probably mention this in Release Notes as it's an iTunes bug out of our hands. Probably we'll note there too Windows Media Player 11's issue that it still can't see our Year MP3 tags, or those of many other encoders. This is despite we're now forcing the Year tag against the specification to the TYER frame, which cures the problem elsewhere such as in Winamp and Explorer. Gale |
