Richard and Caecos, Thanks for the information! I'm amazed by this answer. What audacity mechanism is causing the pluggo library to get called? It seems strange that it appears to load on exit. How can I prevent this from happening? I haven't done anything that suggests I want maxmsp plugins to be loaded into audacity. Many people who have max/msp use audacity, but probably don't want it taking up cpu time from audacity.
