Yes, for lack of a better name, I'm calling that the trackinfo area, because of the TrackInfo class, which appears to hold the state for those controls. I was thinking to put it on the bottom. Yes, the per-track percentage would relate to that track. I hadn't even thought about overall percentage. That's a neat idea. A little tricky to implement well since we can't just average the percentages (would be very inaccurate,) but certainly is possible. Where would you put the overall percentage? Currently a lot of tooltips are in the bottom left portion of the status bar, and they look like they are activated by mouseover events. Is that area different from the "status bar" we are talking about? The reason I am confused is that the type of text there is not about status at all. Michael |
