Don't see why not - they only come into effect in those two places, and I don't see a reason to have the added complexity of supporting build with them both on and off. lib-src/lib-widget-extra/ now has a build system, except that it still doesn't build with the same error: NonGuiThread.cpp:57: error: ‘class wxAppTraits’ has no member named ‘BeforeChildWaitLoop’ NonGuiThread.cpp:69: error: ‘class wxAppTraits’ has no member named ‘AfterChildWaitLoop’ As I can't see anything in the wx documentation about wxAppTraits having a AfterChildWaitLoop() method, I'm inclined to think something else is going wrong here, or else we are using something internal and undocumented from wx.
