[Audacity-devel] Changing the Audacity UI

Would anyone be open to the idea of modifying the look of Audacity (I have a
few ideas if anyone would be interested), or adding a skinning engine to
allow customization of the user interface?  I've been using Audacity for a
few months and I like the functionality, I'm just not crazy about the UI.
I'd like to make this enhancement, but I don't want to go through the work
only to find that no one wants it to change.
