Hi Alissa, I see no-one else has responded to your question, so i'll give it a try. If by "lagging" you mean that one or more parts of your song are lower in volume than the rest of the song, I think you need to use a compressor, which I think there is at least one that comes with Audacity. You'd probably do better to ask on the regular Audacity users group for this purpose. Best David -- David R.
