Hi folks, I wanted to state, first thanks to Andreas for your contributions. You definitely have strong skills and good creative energy to help Audacity mature and develop. I've been enjoying checking out your FIND_NOTES feature, and the tree view looks very interesting (from the screenshot you posted, it even appears that one can have multiple views of the same track with it :-D). However I also wanted to express thanks to James for helping maintain focus on the Audacity project. Releasing a stable 1.4 version of Audacity must be the foremost priority with the project. Once that hurdle is reached I look forward to "breaking and improving" Audacity in the next development branch (we are in a similar situation over at the Rivendell project, where getting a stable 1.0 release is the top priority there, yet developers are itching to refactor and add new features to core components). In summary, keep up the good work folks (I'll help how I can) and maintain the good focus. regards, donfede -- Federico Grau Free Software Developer and Sysadmin Radio Free Asia 2025 M Street, NW Suite 300 Washington, DC 20036 202-587-2046 Telephone 202-721-7468 Facsimile CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION This e-mail message is intended only for the use of the addressee and may contain information that is privileged and confidential.
