Hi Alex, Neat! Sorry, I cannot help out with your memory question. I'm not so much interested in making a label track, but several people on the Audacity users list have asked for a plug to remove silence from speeches. I don't understand a lot of the code, but I suspect you could turn this into a process plug by using extract or extract-abs: (extract 0 0.5 s) leaves you with the first half of the mono track in Audacity, (extract-abs 0 0.5 s) leaves you with the first half second of a mono track. I suspect you could sequentially find areas of audio containing sound, and string them together using seq or seqrep. David |
