No crash. How do I get this problem? | I asked the same question on this list, and tried hard to get a crash, | but couldn't. I don't think it's a repeatable issue on Win XP, SP2 | latest etc. It seems I did not try with a late enough build, I certainly do not get the crash with 5 August build but it is perfectly replicable with the released 1.3.3 and builds in between. I just hope whatever we did to unwittingly fix it continues to work... Removed from checklist, and disallow left click to remove clip and cut lines in favour of left double-click moved to aim-to. | >> * EQ - fix when start from clean XML, open existing curve, make flat, | >> draw custom curve then save as new name, existing curve is flat when | >> reopened. | > I've not checked out Martyn's latest changes here; It's not a crash bug | > or a show stopper in any case, so it's becoming an 'aim-to'. | | I think it's fixed, so that's OK with me. Have moved to aim-to, not "fixed" as I thought Julian still had related issues? Re: warn with Prefs. closed with Autosave off, don't you think those who go through Prefs. with the keyboard could turn off autosave accidentally - you only have to knock spacebar? Inveterate Preference fiddlers could do so accidentally with the mouse as well. With the non existent protection when autosave is off and you crash, I think this should be top of the aim to's at least. PS I "will" make those changes - Buanzo's spam filter seems to be blocking all URLs even audacityteam.org so it is hard to save any Wiki changes, will drop him a line.
