I found that blue didn't work for me, there's too much blue already on the screen and it was too hard to tell it apart from the selected track. I don't like the idea of using green or red because they indicate playback and recording throughout Audacity. What if the highlight was only arount the top, left, and bottom of the label area - only to the left of the waveform? Do you think that'd be less distracting? Or maybe something closer to white, or between yellow and white? Do you know how to use a paint program like Gimp or Photoshop, or even MS Paint? If you can create a mockup screenshot with a color gradient that we all end up liking, it'll be easy to change the code. - Dominic |
