Also completely intentional. Why do you think it's wrong? In short, the envelope is being treated as data rather than metadata, that is, an essential part of the audio rather than a completely seperate thing that just happens to be overlayed (and should be treated entirely seperately). I wrote it that way because that's the way I use envelopes: A amplification/attentuation mechanism that's finer-grained than a global amplify and an essential part of the data. It's as persistent as the samples. Monty |
